Le titre Trois-Vingts se rapporte au chiffre soixante dans le système vigésimal de numération. Diverses langues indo-européennes dont le français utilisaient ce système de numération à base vingt, avant que celui à base dix ne s' impose de par le monde. Commandé par l' Alliance française de Singapour pour fêter son soixantième anniversaire, Trois-Vingts pour violon, violoncelle, harpe et piano fut créé le 16 avril 2009 par le trio I-Sis et Albert Lin au piano. Avec une joie célébratrice, confiante et contagieuse, une cellule rythmique sautille allègrement soixante fois à travers six éléments musicaux. Trois-Vingts est dédié à Pierre-Emmanuel Jacob.
